Annie Potter, founder of Annie's Attic is known by her peers as an avid needlecrafter. She is a very successful businesswoman, a designer, an editor, and a crocheter.
Her love of croscheting became her livelihood. She started during her childhood in Kansas when she watched her Mother crochet for hours. When Annie was 8 years old sh was crocheting herself and then started to design her own patterns.
Annie Potter began to design professionally and started a simple mail-order ad in a needlecraft magazine, Annie's Attic. Then she created a catalog. Then a magazine called Annie's Quick & Easy Pattern Club, then another Annie's Crochet Newsletter.
Annie's Attic involves millions of peope, dedicated to sharing needlecrafts and designs. Her company is located in a small southern town of Big Sandy, Texas. Where you will find Victorian homes - a bed and breakfast, a tearoom, and a gift shop.
