Wigix is removing transaction fees, making it completely free to sell on Wigix! No listing fees. No transaction fees. No hidden fees.
We want to encourage more sellers and buyers to Wigix, and increase our advertising and referral revenue from our sponsored partners. This will also increase the share of revenue for our devoted page owners and category experts.

To appeal to more buyers, Wigix has always paid special attention to increased security. To better protect you and your purchases, we have now implemented a more secure verification process.
Like before, sellers will need to have one financial verification. You can opt to verify with: PayPal, credit card or a bank account.
Starting February 5th, sellers will also need to verify three additional verifications, choosing between five options: US Drivers License, US Social Security Number, Phone Number, eBay rating, or a Postal Address.
During the first 30 days of the new verification process, all sellers will still be able to open new sell orders. After this grace period, all sellers that have yet to verify will have their open sell orders disabled.

We've added a new pane in My Wigix exclusively for Storefront owners.
Designed to be your easy, central point of access to all your Storefront features, the new module has up-front links to your Storefront design, preferences, sell orders, and more.

Wigix, today made some minor modifications to the Bulk Upload tool to make it easier for our members. Members can now select a specific category in which their items will be uploaded.
IMPORTANT: All bulk uploaded items that were addd prior to October 26, 2009, are now slated to be pulled in two weeks time. To prevent your items from being pulled, please complete them or re-upload them with the updated Bulk Upload tool.

Wigix has added a new identity verification requirement for sellers.
If you are using Paypal as your payment method, you must be Paypal verified as well. If you choose Google Checkout or Amazon Payments, you must verify a credit card with us.
These options are easy to choose and once you are verified, your buyers will have an easier time trusting your seller profile. Of course, any information collected will be taken in strict confidentiality and we will continue to abide by our privacy policy.
Please go to your My Wigix Payments and Verification Preferences and verify your identity. You have one month (November 15) to complete this verification or your sell orders will be removed from the system.

To help our Category Experts and reward the members who submit great content, Wigix now has a page submission rating system.
Now, every page that you submit will be rated by its Category Expert. Ratings are from 1 to 5 stars.
If your last fifty page ratings average 4 or more, then you are grant Star Submitter status and will gain the following benefits:
- Special "badge" recognition
- Automatic page submission approval for Wigix-owned categories
- No "Captcha" verifications during submissions
You can even be grandfathered as a Star Submitter if you feel your prior submissions (more than 50) is of high quality.

Today, Category Experts and Page Owners will find new functions for greater control over their category and owned pages.
Pages that are flagged as in the "wrong category" will be reviewed by its CE and the CE of the receiving category.
Duplicates are deleted only when its Category Expert approves its deletion. If you believe your page has been deleted in error, you can appeal. If necessary, CE can restore your deleted page.
Page owners have a new "Contributions" page, which includes:
- Pages Submissions
- Page Edits
- Duplicates
- Category Moves
- Page Inaccuracy
- Offensive Content
- Submitted CE Applications
- Refferals
The "Page Submissions" listing includes additional columns for statistics:
- Pages Views,
- # Sold
- # of Open Sell Orders
- # of Open Buy Orders
- Page Rating
Know of an uncategorized page that does not include enough information to ever be made into a full-fledged product page? Flag it with the new "Not enough information to complete" button. These pages will never be categorized.
Wigix will review these pages and remove them from the site when appropriate.

Wigix has added another payment method: Amazon Payments. This new, third option adds more flexibility to buying and selling on Wigix.
Please note: Using Amazon Payments enables an automatic deduction of your seller's fee from the buyers payment, eliminating the need to place money into your Wigix account. For more information, go to our FAQ for Transactions.
Use Amazon Payments for a faster and more hassle-free experience. Sellers can activate Amazon Payments by going to My Wigix > Preferences > Payments > Verification.

Extend your reach to more people by listing your sell order on Craigslist.
Wigix has built a new exporter for sellers to spread the word to Craigslist easily. Just choose Craigslist from the "Spread the Word" page that you see after posting a sell order. You can also access the tool through the action drop-down menus for each open sell order in My Wigix > Orders > Sell Orders.
It's a simple four-step process:
1) Log in to Craigslist or select a city
2) Choose a category and location
3) Copy and paste the product information using the copy icons to the right-hand side.
4) Click Continue to Preview and Finish.

To provide you with a more transparent, safer experience, Wigix has added mini-profiles!
Hover your mouse over a name and you'll see a new mini-profile. This is profile includes much of the pertinent information to evaluate a members, including their picture, feedback rating, trust and safety verifications, and their login activity.
Whenever buying or selling, check out the mini-profile of the member and you'll have quick access to more information about the seller or buyer.

Wigix has applied more polish to our processes of buying and selling. The new 4-step sell process is now simpler and quicker to use. Entering your descriptions and shipping methods have been streamlined and more intuitive.
Furthermore the management of your buy and sell orders is easier and now has new features, such as reporting and sifting (previously only available to Storefront owners).

After listening to member feedback, we've decided to unify the buying and selling experience for Storefronts and non-stores. Buying/selling from a Storefront or non-store will be nearly identical.
If you are a Storefront owner, all of your items--whether you created them as Storefront inventory or as personal sell orders--are now combined into one place: My Wigix > Orders. You will still retain all your current features. Managing your inventory of sell orders (including reporting and shelving) is now done through My Wigix > Orders. Accounting is done through My Wigix > Account Balance. Employee management, Store design, Watchers and Favoriters are still managed from My Wigix > Storefront. We feel these are the natural places to find your information.
If you think you still need to keep your "personal" Wigix separate from your Storefront, then the best solution is to create a second account for managing all your personal stuff.
If you are a seller but not a store owner, you will have access to a few functions (such as reports and sifting) that were previously only available to store owners.

After listening to feedback from members like you, Wigix has decided to eliminate buyer transaction fees.
Without transaction fees buyers will make purchases with you faster and easier.
You save money! You pay for what the seller asks. Nothing else.
Although you will no longer profit from buyer transaction fees, this change also removes an obstacle to successful sales. MORE sales translates to more revenue for you.
Wigix has also decided to disable Wigix to Wigix payments. Buyers can still pay through Paypal and Google Checkout. Sellers, page owners, CEs and contest winners can still use ACH/eCheck (as well as Paypal and Google Checkout) to withdraw their earnings.
