Help Center > Trade a card
Every card in your Wigix Portfolio and Watch list is available to trade.
Go to "build your portfolio" or "build your want list" through the links on the Card Trader top menu.
A quick-view of your Card Portoflio/Want List is to the right-hand side. Use the Search and Browse functions on the left hand side to search for you card. Once you find the card, click "Add to Portfolio".
If you cannot find your card in the Wigix Catalog, use the "Add Card Manually" button below. (Caution: This option should be a last resort. To capture all your possible matches, try to add cards that have already been added to the catalog. You should not manually add a card that already exists in the catalog. Any duplications will be deleted.)
Click "View Matches" on the Card Trader top menu to view people that:
- want cards that you have
- have cards that you want
Use the "+" expanders to see the cards in question. Click "Trade with this member" to create an offer.
If you have no matches, click on Create an Offer to search for another card or add more cards to your portfolio or want list.
Click on "Create an Offer" link in the Card Trader top menu.
Creating an offer is a three step process.
Step 1: You can choose to find a card to receive or a card that you own but would like to trade away. (You can also use a card in your Want List or Portfolio as starting points. Use the associated tabs for those options.)
Select the appropriate option and use the search field to start your search.
Find a card in the resulting search results and click on "View Traders".
Step 2: Traders that match the card selected are listed on the left.
Use the "Portfolio" and "Want List" tabs on the right and the "select" buttons to select cards to add to the offer. You can see the built offer below the trader's name.
Click on the name of another trader to create other offers to different people.
Please take special attention to the trader's feedback and Trust and Safety ratings.
Step 3: Review your built offers and adjust the card values if needed.
Use the comments fields to discuss other details such as shipping methods.
Click "Send offers" to send your offers to the selected traders.
Offers will be placed in Offer Management under "Awaiting Trader Response".
Use the "Manage Offers" link to see your offers.
Offers with the "Awaiting Your Response" are offers that are pending your decision. Click on "View Offer" to review.
Use the "Modify" button to adjust the offer.
If you agree to the offer, use the "Accept" button to initiate the trade.
Use the "Cancel" button to reject the offer.
Once you accept an offer, the offer will be placed in Offer Management with the "Accepted" status. These offers are pending the shipment of your cards. Customarily, the trader with the lowest feedback rating ships their cards first.
