Help Center > Export to Cragislist

Exporting to Craigslist is an easy and effective way to extend your seller's reach to more users.

What is the "Export to Craigslist" tool? (And where do I find it?)

Our "Export to Craigslist" tool is a partially automated tool to help you post your sell order information on Craigslist. It features a portal to Craigslist on the left-hand side, and your sell order information on the right-hand side. "Copy" links provide an easy way to copy your information on paste it to the appropriate Craigslist field.

You can export to Craigslist at anytime from your list of sell orders in My Wigix (My Wigix > Orders > Sell Orders). Just use the drop-down menu beside any of your open sell orders. Or, you can use the "Spread the Word" prompt that you'll find after posting any new sell order.

What are the steps?

It's a simple five-step process:

  1. Select a city (or log in to Craigslist if you already have an account)
  2. Choose a category and a location
  3. Copy and paste the product information into the appropriate fields using the copy icons () to the right-hand side. (Click on an icon and paste the information in the appropriate field in Craigslist.)
  4. Click "Continue" to Preview, fill in the Captcha words and continue again.
  5. Once you get a confirmation from Cragislist that your item has been posted, click the orange "Finish" button at the bottom of the page.

Why isn't this a one-button export?

We wish it was. Unfortunately, to avoid Craigslist doesn't allow systems to use scripts to automatically post to their site. This copy-and-paste approach works within Craigslist's conditions and insures that your posting remains on its bulletins.
