1. What is a Homestead?

   1. Users who help Wigix.com expand the catalog (by submitting items) are given a share of that item's advertising and transactional revenue.

2. In your Homesteading documentation, you mention that I need to be an "active" member to continue to be a homesteader? What is an "active member?"

   1. An 'active member' does an activity at least once a week on Wigix.com. Activities include: blogging, writing in forums, selling, buying, updating lists, submitting items, referring friends, finding golden items, or doing category expert activities.

3. What is a Golden Item?

   1. Wigix has secretly marked hundreds of items with a gold bar.Click on these gold bars and your Wigix account will be credited $1!

4. In your Category Expert documentation, you mentioned that my status as a category expert could be remanded if I become inactive for 30 days. What is an "active category expert?"

   1. At the minimum, category experts must review, approve, or reject item submissions made for their category at least every three days. They must respond to user queries, update their blogs and discussion boards, as well as manage the category taxonomy and item level characteristics, one to three times per week.

5. Wigix is paying me for referrals. Is this some kind of multi-level marketing scheme?

   1. Absolutely not. Wigix differs dramatically from multi-level marketing operations in that (1) members don't have to pay an enrollment fee, (2) we do not make members purchase products and (3) we do not require members to sell or recruit.
