The primary tool for Category Experts is the Category Expert Workbench (CEW): http://www.wigix.com/index.php/mycew
You can navigate to the CEW by clicking on "My Wigix" at the top navigation bar, then clicking on "Category Expert Workbench" under "Contribute to Wigix" in the left-hand column. The CEW is only accessible by approved Category Experts.
Category Experts are required to:
- learn how to use the CEW
- develop the structure of your category (within 30 days)
- identify the defining characteristics of all the items in your category
- make sure that your category is easily readable, navigable, and searchable
- evaluate the accuracy of incoming and existing item detail submissions
- evaluate page incoming page edits and reported errors, including duplicates, inaccuracies and offensive content
Wigix has several help documents for Category Experts on the right-hand side of Category Expert Workbench.
A Certified Category Expert Program is also available. It is an easy, four-quiz program that validates your expertise in the CEW.
