Wigix Forum Guidelines and Code of Conduct
Wigix Forum is designed for members to share ideas, opinions, information, and knowledge for educational as well as entertainment purposes. The messages express the views of the authors who remain solely responsible for the contents. Wigix does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message and is therefore not responsible for the contents.
By joining the forum, you agree to abide by the code of conduct as follows.
- Be considerate, respectful and sensitive to your fellow members; any form of personal attacks or private vendettas will not be tolerated.
- Exercise care and judgment and don't share or seek personal or sensitive information or make false assumptions or hurtful insinuations about people.
- Do not post materials or topics that are abusive, deceptive, defamatory, distasteful, harassing, harmful to minor, hateful, inflammatory, invasive of one's privacy, objectionable, pornographic, racist, threatening, unlawful, or otherwise in violation of any law. Veiled profanity such as "F-U" or "OMFG" is strictly forbidden.
- Use facts and reasons to express differences of opinion, not intimidation, obscenity, rudeness, or sarcasm.
- People communicate differently. When differences arise, it is acceptable to agree or disagree while maintaining a civil discourse.
- Use accurate subject titles for the posts and refrain from posting meaningless thread.
- Political, racial, religious, or sexual topics are very inappropriate for the forum.
- Add value to the discussion by being relevant and thoughtful.
- Post in normal conversational tone without excessive use of emoticons, punctuation, fanciful font, or CAPITALIZATION.
- By posting on this forum, Wigix may use the content in any manner without notice or compensation to you.
- Spamming and unsolicited advertising is strictly prohibited.
- Obey all patent, trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights.
- Private messaging and use of avatars are subject to this same code of conduct and decency standard.
- Any form of deception, fraud, impersonation, or misrepresentation is a serious offense and will be grounds for immediate termination of your membership.
- Members who feel they have been unfairly treated are welcome to contact or appeal to Wigix administrators.
- Violators may be warned, sanctioned, suspended or removed from the forum.
- If disciplinary action is taken against you, do not attempt to circumvent or evade a temporary ban by registering a different user name or changing the IP address. If caught, it will result in permanent termination.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wigix and its agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).
- Wigix reserves the right to edit or delete any post or take punitive action against any member at any time for failing to abide by the code of conduct, terms of use, official rules, and privacy policy.
- Wigix reserves right to reveal your identity in any legal complaint or action arising from any message posted by you.
- The code of conduct may be amended at any time without notice. Ignorance is not an excuse for violation. Wigix's ultimate goal is to create and maintain a pleasant and conducive environment for all members to enjoy their visit and participation.
