Post subject: Inability To Manage Listings In Item Management

Hello All; I don't know if anyone else aside from myself is experiencing issues with managing listings in the Item Management area of their CEW. Well, I am and am not happy with the issues. First when an item hits the sub lists (Page Edits, Duplicates, Page Submissions, Category Moves, Page Inaccuracy and Offensive Content) it impossible to remove them. The only option is "View this request". What's worse is that no check off box is available to do ANYTHING with the listing. It makes no difference if there is an approval or a resolution with the listing, they hang right in there on your details tabs. I agree with most listing's resolution/approval and would love to get rid of them of my view and move on. Attachment:

Second, when you receive a notice of "your" page has been edited, absolutely nothing on that page tells you what has actually been edited. There is no highlighting of words, no changes in of colors, no "Hey You, the picture has been changed". I looked over one this morning and again this evening and could not tell what had been done. Thankfully a fellow CE had done the work and one that I trust. So I gave in and approved the changes, whatever it was. How about spending some time on this issue, this isn't the first time for it to rear up and roar. Third, the "Star Rating System" needs a major adjustment. NO FREAKING WHERE does it indicate you have to click on the actual "stars" during an approval. Once again this morning I reviewed an item and just lost control. All I had to ask about the rating was via a (?) which listed the criteria but NEVER gave a set of instructions of actually how to apply the rating in your approval. Now this evening I spent too much time playing around where I did figure out how to apply the rating. When I deal with web sites for shopping, if it gets to hard to figure it out, I'm out of there. It makes me wonder how many would be out of WIGIX for lack of clear directions to operate the site. ARRRGGGGGHHH, help, fix some some of this! Walter

Hello tashanashville,
I'd like to provide some clarification on some of the issues you described here.
1) Regarding issue #1, under the "Approved" tab, what's listed there is the record of all approved requests. When a new "move category" request is submitted, the request goes into the "New" tab. Once the request is dealt with, either approved or rejected, the record itself goes into the "Approved" or "Rejected" tab respectively for record-keeping purposes. For a CE, the only place they'll need to pay attention to is the "New" tab unless they want to see the past records.
2) Regarding the page edits, if you click to view the details of the edit, there should be orange circles that highlight the modified areas. Please see the screenshot below.

Hi, TechSupport! When the CE of the category is the person editing the page, the page owner does not see an "Existing Items Details" and "New Item Details" comparison. That only appears when someone other than the CE of the category makes changes. Have a great day! skeff

And she was my page edit submitter as well, so this was one CE to another CE editing. What may help is the fact I now the changes are orange. Let me suggested that you use bolder borders for the orange highlighting.

When a CE edits a page in his/her own category, the edits take effect right away. There's no submission/review process for the page owner or CE any more. The comparison page was built for the review process. Thanks!
